Included with every ticket is an on-demand bonus session featuring five amazing films about threatened wildlife and efforts to protect their habitats and save them from extinction. This includes the award-winning, feature-length film “Entangled” as well as four other films featuring endangered wildlife from pangolins to snow leopards.

Livermore Pride

We are a proud Partner of the first Livermore Pride celebration by livermorepride.org

On Oct 19, 2019 (Sat) noon-4PM over 1000 people joined the first Pride event at Bankhead Theater Plaza, Livermore, CA.

EBCE for Pleasanton

On Sep 17, 2019 not only Pleasanton, but also Tracy voted to join EBCE! Thank you everyone who called, emailed and petitioned! Special thanks go to Susanna Chau, Cathy Gabor and Terry Chang who urged to vote yes at the Pleasanton City Council, Cathy Brown and Laurene Green who helped this campaign and all the environment commission members and city staff who prepared a perfect analysis. Finally please thank your city council members for their vote.

In 2016 Pleasanton City Council voted not to join Alameda County's Community Choice Energy Program, East Bay Community Energy. EBCE started to supply electricity in June 2018. Today all the municipal accounts in the county except Newark and Pleasanton enjoy their Carbon Free electricity without any increase in their costs.

In 3 cities (Emeryville, Hayward and Piedmont) residents are also Carbon free unless they opted out or down. For the first time we have multiple choices purchasing our electricity mixes.

Organizing for ’18

The stakes couldn’t be higher in 2018, and we made it happen.

The House

In key House races across the country, we had an opportunity to replace members who have worked against the will and well-being of their constituents with leaders who will actually fight for the people they represent.

It was time to elect people who will reject cynical partisan politics, stand up to special interests, and give a true voice to their constituents. In these target districts, OFA volunteers were Organizing for ’18 to make that a reality.

CA Targets: CA-04, CA-10, CA-21, CA-25, CA-39, CA-45, CA-48, CA-49

Our Chapter is focusing on our closest district CA-10 (Manteca, Modesto, Tracy) with Swing Left Tri-Valley to help elect Josh Harder as a congress member. In September we added CA-21 and NV. We are happy to announce we helped to win Sisolak for NV Governor, Rosen for NV Senate and TJ Cox in CA-21.
